My son was seen very quickly (within 2 days of Mr Gupta being contacted). He explained the options for treatment at great length, and asked my son (aged 16) how he would like to proceed. He explained everything very clearly...all of the pros and cons of both options, and my son was able to decide for himself which course of action he wanted to follow.
He decided to have his collarbone pinned back in place. The operation was conducted with excellent professionalism and expertise, and my son now has full range of motion back and is well on the way to a full recovery.
At his last check up, he was X rayed...and Mr Gupta once again fully explained how the would was healing, and what might happen if he returned to sport too early. He was offered excellent advice, and felt listened to when he asked questions.

My first encounter with Mr Gupta was a consultation for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on my left hand. He explained in great detail the problem and suggested a surgical procedure due to the advanced state of the problem which was severe. Procedure was done on the 13/01/2023. At every stage Mr. Gupta gave me full explanation of he was doing, how was done and what to do after. I felt totally at ease as I was looked after by a very experienced surgeon. There was never a doubt in my mind everything was going to be perfect. It was. Within 24 hrs my problem disappeared. Thank you Mr. Gupta for a job well done.

Mr Rohit Gupta, BSc(Hons), MBBS(Lond), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Tr&Orth), is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Upper Limb surgery at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey since 2005. He provides NHS and private treatment for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand complaints, both surgical and non-surgical. He considers it to be an immense privilege that he is regarded as the premier Upper Limb Specialist to consult in his part of the UK by his patients and peers alike.
